Glocomms is seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join their Operations team. As part of this team, you will be working to design, build & maintain critical infrastructure with a focus on Linux systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and deploy Linux systems across various environments.
- Continuously monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Automating infrastructure services using a variety of languages (Shell, Python, Terraform, Bash).
- Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigating breaches and applying necessary fixes.
- Regularly perform updates, patches, and upgrades on Linux systems to ensure security and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, including hardware failures, software bugs, and configuration problems.
- Experience in Linux systems administration (on-prem & VM's).
- Exposure to virtualisation / container solutions (VMware / Docker).
- AWS administration.
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
This is a fully remote opportunity, open to all EU candidates. Occasional onsite visits are required every few months.
