PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team, specializing in Classical Error Correction. As a key member of our Quantum Error Correction team, you will play a crucial role in improving the design of our fault-tolerant architecture.
Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development of internal architecture performance analysis tools, as well as contribute to the development of the hybrid classical-quantum computing architecture of a fault-tolerant quantum computer. You will work closely with our Hardware design & analysis team to assess the performance of proposed architectures based on realistic hardware modeling and noise models.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of Alice&Bob fault-tolerant architecture, including improving QEC schemes, fault-tolerant logical gate designs, and other related tasks.
- Contribute to the development of internal architecture performance analysis tools.
- Contribute to the development of the hybrid classical-quantum computing architecture of a fault-tolerant quantum computer, including decoding algorithms and other related tasks.
- Work closely with the Hardware design & analysis team to assess the performance of proposed architectures based on realistic hardware modeling and noise models.
- PhD in Classical Error Correction or a related field (Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.).
- 3+ years of research experience in the field or equivalent experience.
- Experience publishing academic papers as a lead author.
- Experience participating in top conferences in Classical Error Correction.
- Expertise in classical error correcting codes.
- Knowledge of quantum error correction is a plus.
- 25-day vacation policy (as per French law) + RTT.
