Key Responsibilities and Contributions

In alignment with the obligations of home healthcare providers, the nursing consultant is responsible for overseeing the at-home care and monitoring of patients utilizing insulin pumps, infusion therapies, and other services offered by the organization, adhering to established therapeutic protocols. The nursing consultant operates within the designated business unit and reports to the service manager at their assigned location.

The nursing consultant's responsibilities include:

• Coordinating patient care follow-up in a home setting
• Setting up and implementing medical devices and equipment at the patient's residence in accordance with company quality and safety standards
• Educating patients and their families about treatment protocols
• Gathering essential administrative data for patient documentation
• Assisting in the management of medical-technical equipment inventory
• Contributing to the growth and development of the business
• Participating in on-call duties as per the established schedule
• Upholding the organization's quality, hygiene, and safety policies while adhering to relevant procedures

Essential Qualifications

Technical Competencies

• Understanding of care regulations, LPPR, and GDPR compliance
• Proficient knowledge of medical devices and associated consumables for advising patients and prescribers
• Capability to instruct patients on the basic maintenance of medical devices, ensuring safety and alerting pharmacists to any identified risks
• Analyzing patient data during follow-up and documenting observations
