About the Company
Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations is a prominent public financial institution dedicated to serving the public interest and supporting national policies. With a legacy spanning over two centuries, we play a pivotal role in the transformation of our nation, operating across the entire French territory and engaging with citizens at various stages of their lives.
Our commitment to addressing pressing challenges such as social and territorial inequalities and climate change is stronger than ever.
As part of the Tax Division, your role will involve providing expert advice and support to the Public Deposits Fund and its key subsidiaries. You will assist in structuring diverse investments and managing the fund's lending activities and public mandates.
You will be integrated into a team of six professionals, working under the guidance of the Department Head and the Deputy Head.

Responsibilities
  • Offering tax guidance and support to operational and legal teams on various issues related to the public institution and, if needed, its subsidiaries in all tax-related matters,
  • Engaging with French tax authorities on behalf of the public institution (participating in annual audits, requesting tax rulings, etc.),
  • Providing assistance to subsidiaries undergoing tax examinations when necessary,
  • Establishing and executing tax procedures pertinent to the activities of the Public Deposits Fund,
  • Creating and delivering training sessions for operational teams or legal personnel,
  • Composing tax newsletters.
You will collaborate with all members of the tax team as well as with accounting, financial, and legal departments.

Requirements
  • Proficient understanding of corporate taxation (corporate income tax, VAT, stamp duty, implementation of international agreements, etc.),
  • Strong command of IT tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint),
  • Solid general legal knowledge with an open perspective on economic and financial topics,
  • Proficiency in English is preferred.
