Our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) ServicesWe support international clients in corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Our GRC team is a group of hands-on, solution-oriented professionals who assist clients facing crisis situations or large complex projects in cross-border and challenging environments.
Special Situation Group (KPMG Paris)We are part of the GRC team, specializing in crisis management and operational solutions. Our team intervenes transversally on administrative, accounting, and financial issues, enabling us to support clients in challenging environments.
Your RoleWe are recruiting a Senior Consultant in Special Situation Group to support our growth. Your challenges will include:
- Diagnostics in challenging environments, such as a JV of a large French group in Brazil with recurrent losses and staffing problems.
- Reporting and KPIs implementation projects for general management to improve visibility on subsidiaries in complex political environments.
- The reliability of financial information reported by a foreign subsidiary to the group or the upgrading of accounting systems following system crashes or due to a lack of resources.
- Assistance in setting up projects/structures in complex countries, such as opening a subsidiary in Africa or acquisitions in the Middle East.
- Resilience and business continuity assignments in the middle of current issues.
- Highly operational Project Management Office.
We are looking for a candidate with a Master degree from a Business/Engineering school or a university equivalent in Finance, with at least 2 years' experience in External Audit, Deal, Financial Analysis, Internal Control, and/or Internal Audit in an international environment. You should possess the following qualities:
- Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good command of French, English, and another language is a plus.
- A keen interest in international and operational matters.
- International mobility.
- Comfortable managing/to be exposed to crisis situations.
