Research Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled research intern to join our team at Orange Innovation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge research project focused on waveform design and resource allocation in Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) systems.

Project Overview

The project aims to investigate the potential of 5G New Radio (NR) reference signals for sensing, with a focus on exploring the tradeoffs between communication and sensing performance. The intern will work on developing novel waveform designs and resource allocation strategies to optimize system performance in ISAC environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a detailed study of 5G NR reference signals and existing state-of-the-art solutions in this domain.
• Propose novel waveform designs that balance the tradeoffs between communication and sensing performance.
• Investigate resource allocation strategies to optimize system performance in ISAC environments.
• Validate proposed solutions through simulations using MATLAB.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., wireless communications, electrical engineering).
• Strong foundation in wireless communication, with knowledge of 5G NR being a plus.
• Familiarity with radar and sensing systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ programming languages.
• Good command of the English language.
