Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

As a key member of the THIRARD team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our press equipment. Your primary mission will be to:

• Maintain and repair press equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Optimize processes by improving tooling, equipment, and storage in the press sector.
• Prepare production changes and perform tooling installation and removal.
• Conduct quality control checks using traditional methods.
• Update technical documentation related to press equipment.
• Support operators and setters in their tasks.
• Be agile in responding to urgent requests.
• Adhere to strict planning schedules.
• Report activity to the Press and Reconditioning Manager and alert them to any issues.

Requirements:

• Preferably hold a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Have significant experience in a similar role or in a function related to tool modification.
• Developed knowledge of concepts, tools, and methods related to deformation tools.
• Technical aptitude.
• Knowledge of reading plans, rectification, drilling, milling, and precision mechanics.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Good stress management, a sense of conquest, and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take a step back and manage multiple tasks simultaneously according to a tight schedule.
• Proactive, methodical, dynamic, autonomous, agile, conscientious, organized, and rigorous.

Annual Salary:

• 28 to 31 K€ negotiable and evolving based on profile and experience.
