About the Job

The CNRS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher in Immunology to join our team at the Centre d'Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (CIML). As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research in the field of immunology, with a focus on the functions of macrophages in the testis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the scientific orientation and technical realization of the project.
  • Utilize daily multiple genetically modified mouse models.
  • Format and present results during meetings and seminars.
  • Write articles and scientific reviews.
  • Supervise Master students.

Requirements

  • PhD in Immunology or Animal Physiology.
  • Master of flow cytometry and confocal microscopy.
  • Experience in experimental work on rodents.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Expertise in macrophages is desired.
  • English level B2.

About the Team

The CIML is an academic research center dedicated to the study of the immune system. Our team is composed of 200 people who take advantage of a unique set of transversal technological platforms developed over the years and continuously enriched with cutting-edge technologies, from genetically modified mouse models to advanced imaging, genomics (at the single-cell level), cytometry, histology, and bioinformatics. You will work directly under the supervision of Dr. Bajénoff, within the "Immunobiology of Stromal Cells" team founded at CIML in 2010 and recipient of an ERC Cog in 2015 and an ANR excellence chair in 2024. The contract is renewable (maximum duration 36 months).
