Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of tax-related processes, including daily reconciliation and settlement. This will involve providing detailed tax event analyses to inform problem-solving, decision-making, and corrective action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax optimization concepts to improve processes related to capital gains tax, church tax, solidarity surcharge, and financial transaction taxes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of tax-related changes and regulatory requirements.
- Perform annual tests of tax certificate calculations and provide training to client-facing entities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent.
- Fundamental experience in securities services, brokerage, or asset management.
- Knowledge of securities and banking processes, including taxation processes related to corporate actions, securities transfers, and interest payments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
