Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents, and a strong understanding of developmental disorders. You will play a vital role in implementing our institution's goals for children with autism and other behavioral disorders, providing individualized support, and fostering a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement the institution's goals for children with autism and other behavioral disorders.
- Assess patient and family needs and expectations.
- Manage patient intake and discharge, accompany patients during activities.
- Organize and supervise therapeutic outings.
Working with Children
- Lead workshops and create new activities tailored to the needs of each child.
- Monitor individualized medical and educational projects, ensuring progress and success.
- Organize group and individual activities that promote learning, social interaction, and personal growth.
- Write educational reports and collaborate with families to ensure open communication and shared understanding.
Providing Individualized Support
- Assist with daily activities, hygiene, and meals, fostering independence and self-sufficiency.
- Encourage independence and educate patients on essential life skills.
- Handle crisis situations effectively and coordinate external medical care when necessary.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Collaborate with other professionals to organize educational activities and create a cohesive treatment plan.
- Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to the overall success of the program.
