About the Role

Friedlander, a leading provider of industrial services, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its Contracting International team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for leading electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical projects, including technical and financial aspects, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and review electrical documentation, including technical specifications and installation procedures.
  • Prepare and submit commercial offers, including cost estimates and technical proposals.
  • Procure and validate electrical equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support to project teams and clients, ensuring timely resolution of electrical-related issues.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities, identifying and proposing innovative electrical solutions that meet client needs and budget constraints.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field, with a strong background in electrical project management.
  • Proven experience in international projects, preferably in Africa, with a strong understanding of local regulations and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in German and/or Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally for short-term missions, with a valid passport and necessary visas.
