Service Overview

The Endocrinology - Diabetology - Nutrition service is an integral part of our medical unit, dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a supportive setting. Our team collaborates closely with nephrology and dermatology specialists to provide holistic patient management.

Service Activities

• Planned Hospitalization: Week-long inpatient stays (12 beds shared with nephrology and algology) or day hospitalization (5 beds) for assessments and educational programs on diabetes and obesity.
• Unplanned Hospitalization: 8 beds within a 19-bed unit shared with nephrology.
• Consultations and Outpatient Care: Thyroid ultrasounds, cytopunctions, and comprehensive diabetic management.

We are a recognized reference center for insulin pumps and closed-loop systems. Our team offers 7 Therapeutic Patient Education programs tailored to the needs of diabetic or obese patients.

Team Composition

Our dedicated medical team consists of six Endocrinology-Diabetology practitioners, a nutritionist, and a skilled nursing staff including health managers, nurses trained in therapeutic education, nursing assistants, dieticians, adapted physical activity teachers, psychologists, and podiatrists.

We are seeking a highly motivated General Practitioner with a strong interest in diabetology and endocrinology to join our esteemed team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients with diabetes or endocrine disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with other practitioners in the service to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient care conferences.
