Job Title: Cloud Processing Support Engineer

Kantar Media is seeking a skilled Cloud Processing Support Engineer to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our audio-matching technology team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, analyzing and resolving complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide level 2/support expert technical support to customers for Audience measurement systems (audio matching technology)
  • Analyze and reproduce customer issues, troubleshoot, and resolve through workarounds or technical solutions
  • Follow up on issues through ticketing tool, maintaining a permanent dialog with customers
  • Support customers with installation and maintenance of their systems
  • Install and test new product versions, ensuring correct testing prior to release to customers
  • Write process or informative notes (FAQ, How to, technical notes) to aid customers in setting up and maintaining their systems
  • Support presales activities with technical advice when necessary
Requirements:
  • Technical experience in real-time systems implementation in cloud architectures based on Docker/Kubernetes/Linux, ideally in multimedia applications
  • First-hand experience as a support engineer, test engineer, or field engineer for a systems integrator or manufacturer
Technical Skills:
  • Azure Kubernetes System (AKS) clusters deployment and support
  • Terraform and Helm for infrastructure deployment
  • Containers/Linux, Elastic Search/Kibana, Prometheus/Grafana/Loki knowledge
  • Azure cloud administration basics
  • Linux administration & Networking knowledge
  • IP multicast basics applied to audio/video transport on IP network
  • Knowledge of network architecture basics (switches configuration, VPN usage, routing) and network issues debugging experience
  • Python or Shell Scripting in Linux environment
Personal Skills:
  • Good written and fluent oral communication in English (B2 level)
  • Customer satisfaction oriented with a capacity to maintain a good relationship with our customers
  • Team spirit oriented within an international and multi-cultural organization
  • Highly organized and able to manage concurrent requests from customers
  • Issue analysis oriented and technically rigorous
  • Autonomous to investigate on complex issues and to manage corrective actions
