We are seeking a highly skilled Structure & Cabin Systems Engineer to join our team at Airbus India Private Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest operational reliability of our fleet, in line with applicable airworthiness requirements and Airbus Technical Standards.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the technical interface with customer-facing teams and liaise with the FHS operational holder to administer the contractual set-up.
- Ensure internal customer satisfaction by acting on relationship, collaboration, responsiveness, and performance.
- Achieve compliance with regulation, airworthiness, and quality standards.
- Propose additional values to support Airbus Services, including digital tools, methodologies, and MRO standards.
- Ensure engineering technical follow-up and defect/delay analysis in collaboration with Toulouse (FHS Headquarter) and local teams.
- Develop close relationships with customer-facing teams, align, and collaborate on processes and deliverables expected.
- Produce and share engineering analysis, action plans, and technical follow-up within a regular time frame agreed with the local team.
- Ensure appropriate support for technical issues resolution within mid and long-term timeframes and ad-hoc short-term support for critical event management.
- Contribute to the functional organization objectives and be a motor in ensuring knowledge, process, and methods are capitalized.
- Ensure regular reporting on different scopes of activity for achievement, performance, and improvement demonstration.
- Ensure technical support, if required, with local aviation authorities, EASA, and FAA, to meet local regulations and expectations.
- Minimum degree holder in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Airline/MRO, mainly in Technical Services positions.
- Good knowledge of Continued Airworthiness Management.
- Structural Damage Assessment & Repair Training preferably with composite parts coverage (Essential).
- License or Type training on commercial transport category aircraft, preferably on any Airbus product, A320/A350 (Desirable).
- Superior organizational skills, flexibility managing multiple priorities, adaptability to changing deadlines, and attention to detail.
- Excellent team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
