With a dedicated team of 22 professionals, including 11 seasoned portfolio managers, Thematics Asset Management operates as a subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers, one of the leading asset management firms globally, managing assets worth $1.02 trillion. Established by six partners, five of whom are distinguished portfolio managers with a solid reputation in thematic investing, the firm thrives on an entrepreneurial ethos, emphasizing fundamental bottom-up research and conviction-driven stock selection within a structured investment framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform equity research and financial analysis utilizing proprietary tools.
- Assist Portfolio Managers with daily operations and ongoing initiatives, including daily portfolio validations and cash flow oversight.
- Participate in and prepare for meetings with sell-side analysts and corporate management teams.
- Oversee the updating of reports, portfolio monitoring documents, and commercial presentations.
- Ensure the efficient scheduling of meetings, calls, and conferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Profile
• Graduate student from business, university, or engineering programs. A dual background in business and engineering is advantageous.
• Previous experience in the asset management sector is preferred, though other relevant financial experiences will be considered.
• Strong skills in account modeling and stock valuation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg is essential.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities.
• CFA candidacy is a plus.
