Job Title: Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

About the Company: CRDL, a recruitment and headhunting firm based in Valenciennes, is seeking an electromechanical maintenance technician for one of its client companies.

Job Overview:

The electromechanical maintenance technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of various mechanical and electrical systems across the facility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems, including raw material circuits, furnaces, production machinery, building lighting, electrical distribution, gas distribution, and water treatment systems.
  • Executing both preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, automation, regulation, and mechanical systems.
  • Providing timely updates on progress and tasks to the supervising personnel.
  • Implementing electrical lockout/tagout procedures for all maintenance activities.
  • Offering technical assistance to teams in the melting and production sectors.
  • Recommending enhancements for technical processes and safety measures.

Working Schedule: 2 shifts per day

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a background in electrical maintenance, such as a BAC PRO or BTS qualification. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics is essential. Candidates should be capable of performing basic electrical installations. Key attributes include diligence, independence, organizational skills, adaptability, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.
