As the Usability & Content Services (UCS) manager, you will oversee a global team dedicated to delivering accessible and efficient testing systems for users and clients, enhancing their testing experience.

Operating from a strategic location, you will manage a 24/5 follow-the-sun operation, coordinating efforts across various regions, focusing on:

  • Functional Monitoring (proactive oversight of Customer Facing Test Systems and Internal Test Systems)
  • Incident Management (identification, analysis, resolution)
  • Problem Management (root cause evaluation and post-incident analysis)
  • Response Time Monitoring
  • Coordination of Capture/Restore processes (for all Test Systems)
  • Record Management

Your Main Responsibilities

You will drive continuous improvement in processes and workflows through feedback mechanisms, opportunity identification, analysis, and solution formulation. Many initiatives will focus on automation development and implementation, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Additionally, you will be an integral contributor to shaping and advocating the vision and strategy of the department. You will spearhead significant projects and the advancement of the global UCS team, in collaboration with leadership across the organization.

Common Accountabilities:

As a Software Development Manager within the UCS team, you will be responsible for ensuring the usability and stability of Test Systems across various platforms, maintaining service level agreements, and ensuring operational continuity while fostering the right skill set within the global team.

  • Exhibit strong operational and technical expertise (for investigation and automation) with a comprehensive understanding of system architecture.
  • Possess a critical mindset (to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements), robust analytical skills (to assist the team with incident and problem management), and project management capabilities.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in personnel management (active listening, empathy, proactive approach), change management, and conflict resolution.
  • Showcase strong leadership that effectively bridges technical and interpersonal aspects across diverse locations.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team operational efficiency.
