About the Role
SUEZ is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Automation Engineer to join our Engineering & Construction team. As an Electrical Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical and automation systems for our projects in France and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical and automation studies (single-line diagrams, power balance, equipment specifications, electrical calculations, control system architecture, input/output lists, functional analyses, control system specifications, etc.)
- Collaborate with the design office to define cable routing and ensure electrical safety of the 3D model
- Prepare tender documents for electrical and automation suppliers and subcontractors
- Compare technical offers and ensure post-order follow-up
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for electrical equipment and automation programs
- Provide post-engineering support and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) as needed
- Depending on workload, participate in the design and cost estimation of electrical and automation systems during the bid phase
Accountabilities
- Responsible for designing electrical and automation systems for the project based on client requirements, bid deliverables, applicable standards, and SUEZ processes
- Contribute to risk management for electrical, automation, and cybersecurity, and create opportunities for additional margins
- Meet production deadlines for electrical and automation deliverables and associated budgets
- Ensure budget follow-up and progress of electrical and automation suppliers and subcontractors
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering and Computer Science or Automation or Industrial Informatics
- Have at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing high-voltage and low-voltage electrical installations for industrial processes and control systems
- Have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Be rigorous and dynamic
- Have operational English
