Key Responsibilities
In alignment with directives from the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing electrical operations, which include both corrective and preventive maintenance as well as inspections of the vessel's electrical systems, machinery, and related facilities, all while adhering to established safety protocols.
The Electrical Technical Officer may be required to fulfill duties across a maximum of three vessels as a Flying ETO.
• Identify and report electrical issues to the Chief Engineer and provide assistance with corrective maintenance and repairs, both temporary and permanent.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance with company procedures in all activities.
• When applicable, conduct and support DP maintenance as directed by the Chief Engineer.
• Perform watchkeeping duties as required and instructed by the Chief Engineer.
The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive, and tasks assigned to this position may extend beyond those listed.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Minimum certification requirements:
• ETO license (STCW III/6)
Minimum experience requirements:
• At least 4 months of sea time in the rank on AHTS, OSV, or MPSV.
