About the Job:

  • Monitor and enhance the efficiency of production tools for MVS systems
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve MVS system performance
  • Administer software tools and implement relevant updates to ensure optimal system performance
  • Provide level 2 support for software products used in MVS production environments

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely tracking and closure of incidents and changes
  • Adhere to client standards and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor and manage the backlog of incidents and generate regular reports
  • Contribute to problem management by proposing realistic solutions and implementation plans

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science with significant experience in a similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of MVS, z/OS, and DB2 technologies

Technical Environment:

  • z/OS v2R1 and basic components (MVS, TSO, JES2, ISPF, RACF, RMF, TCP/IP, SMF, USS, WLM, SDSF), and more
