Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Decize. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of critical waterway structures, ensuring their functionality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive maintenance and repairs on a variety of waterway structures, including locks, dams, bridges, and canals.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and industrial computer system issues that may arise.
• Implement and adhere to established maintenance plans and procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent relevant experience.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in electrical or industrial maintenance environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills, including electricity, automation, mechanics, and welding.
• Hold valid driver's licenses and any necessary certifications required for the role.

Working Conditions

This position is based in Decize with occasional travel within the Nièvre region. You will be expected to adhere to strict safety protocols and routines while performing your duties. The work schedule consists of fixed hours, and you will be provided with all necessary safety equipment.
