Context and Team Overview
The Identity & Access Management Center of Excellence (IAM CoE) operates within the Identity Global Products Line under Group CIO at AXA Group Operations. Our mandate is to design, implement, and manage globally shared products in the IAM domain for:
- AXA employees (I AM-Employee)
- Users engaged with AXA's business (I AM-Business)
- AXA's customer base (I AM-Customer)
As part of the One Identity Program, which aims to establish the IAM Next Generation framework, AXA has adopted the Saviynt solution in the cloud for its new Group Identity and Governance Administration platform, known as 'LISA'. This platform is designed to mitigate data breach risks, enhance compliance, streamline operations, and boost user productivity within AXA Group.
Position Overview
The IAM CoE is seeking an Assistant IAM Product Owner to:
- Articulate and disseminate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, informed by market analysis, customer insights, and organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, encompassing user stories, epics, and features that outline product functionalities and requirements.
- Strategically plan and execute product releases, guided by backlog priorities and resource availability.
Key Responsibilities
Act as an IAM Product Owner
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business units, developers, and testers, to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with both user needs and AXA's global strategy.
- Oversee the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, estimated, and continuously refined.
- Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation over time, including specifications and user guides.
Ensure Consistency and Quality of IAM Deliverables
- Review the quality and alignment of deployment objectives with our integration team, including oversight of deployment reporting and escalations.
- Identify project risks collaboratively and propose actionable plans to address them with assigned project managers.
- Coordinate and review documentation produced by technical teams to ensure it meets project requirements and constraints.
Support IAM Quality of Service
- Serve as an escalation point for complex IAM IPC (Incident Problem Change) issues alongside the IAM Service Management team.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of operational organization and procedures, including monitoring and alerting.
- Assist in securing service operations, addressing audit and penetration testing findings.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. A willingness to navigate an international and challenging environment is essential. Effective communication with diverse personas is crucial, alongside a keen interest in the product development lifecycle. Candidates should be innovative, proactive, and capable of proposing new ideas and features to enhance the product.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with IAM concepts, solutions, and services, including identity management and access control.
- Understanding of IT topics, such as networking and workplace technology.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as Jira, for tracking project progress and facilitating team communication.
Non-Technical Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities in an international and multicultural context.
- Capacity to articulate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders, including customers, users, development team members, and testers.
- Ability to identify and comprehend user needs, translating them into functional requirements for the product.
- Leadership and teamwork skills to inspire and guide development team members.
