We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at Inria, a leading research institute dedicated to digital science and technology. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and evolving our infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our software ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement infrastructure evolutions to ensure scalability and reliability
- Migrate our database storage from PostgreSQL to Cassandra and our internal object storage to a distributed storage solution
- Supervise and maintain the Software Heritage infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Deploy and automate software releases, ensuring seamless integration with our development environment
- Participate in team life, interacting with relevant Open Source communities and Software Heritage partners
- Strong background in Linux in an enterprise production environment, preferably at scale
- Knowledge of development of systems management and administration automation
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration environments
- Experience in configuration management technologies such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- Familiarity with one or more cloud providers
- Experience coding in Python or similar languages
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Partial reimbursement of public transport costs
- 7 weeks of annual leave + 10 extra days off due to RTT (statutory reduction in working hours) + possibility of exceptional leave
- Possibility of teleworking (after 6 months of employment) and flexible organization of working hours
