Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Mairie de Courchevel. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our 5-star hotel.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and maintain effective financial planning and budgeting processes to ensure the hotel's financial goals are met.
  2. Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the regional finance director or hotel director, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.
  3. Financial Control: Supervise all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash handling, to ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  4. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management to optimize financial performance.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all financial processes and procedures are in place to maintain compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a hotel accounting role.
  • Knowledge of various hotel systems, including POS, PMS (Opera), and CRM.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with a working knowledge of French.
