Job Summary
Virbac is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Pharmacovigilance team as an Apprenti Chargé(e) de Pharmacovigilance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our pharmacovigilance data.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Reporting and Data Management: Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of adverse events (AEs) and their updates in our pharmacovigilance database. Conduct medical evaluations of cases and assess causality.
- Data Quality and Integrity: Contribute to the quality and integrity of our data by detecting duplicates, tracking receipt dates, and verifying the consistency of information across available systems.
- Departmental Messaging and Operations: Participate in the management of the department's messaging system, which serves as the primary interface with our subsidiaries, distributors, and national agencies. Prioritize data entry operations and ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
- Case Search and Import: Assist in searching for AEs in the Eudravigilance Veterinary database and import relevant cases into our Virbac database.
- System Testing and Validation: Collaborate in testing and validating our new pharmacovigilance database.
- Research and Technical Writing: Conduct research and write technical arguments as needed.
Requirements
- Student in veterinary school, pharmacy (Master 1/2), or engineering school in pharmacology.
- Student in biology/life sciences with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry (Master 1/2).
- Proficiency in French and English.
