Real Estate Associate

The Real Estate Associate Office role is a key position within Nuveen Real Estate, supporting the firm's portfolio of real estate and property assets. As a member of the team, you will work closely with senior members to drive transactions and maintenance, leveraging your analytical and communication skills to deliver exceptional results.
Main Responsibilities:- Animate the agents network and screen the market to identify new investment opportunities aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain financial models, client presentations, and transaction processes, ensuring seamless execution.
- Participate in due diligence efforts, including commercial, ESG, legal, and tax assessments.
- Assist with liquidity events, such as refinancing or disposal.
- Direct involvement in lease negotiations, property management, and capital expenditures decisions.
- Oversee third-party leasing teams, property management, and operating partners to execute the business plan.
- Manage bank financing, compliance reporting, and debt covenants.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of management reporting, reviewing quarterly reports and validating outputs.
- Excellent knowledge of the office and housing property market, with some skills in alternatives a plus.
- Proven ability to animate an agent network, screen the market, and follow up on new investment opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and ability to apply them effectively.
- Financial, analytical, and modelling skills, with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Fluent French and English speaker, with good team player skills and ability to contribute to the success of Nuveen Real Estate.
