About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geological Modeling Solutions Expert to join our team at Aspen Technology. As a key member of our Subsurface Science and Engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions and business outcomes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer-Facing Role: You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions using AspenTech's product suite.
  • Solution Development: You will design and implement solutions that address customer requirements, leveraging your expertise in subsurface geomodelling workflows, structural and stratigraphic framework building, 3D Gridding, property modelling, and uncertainty assessment.
  • Business Acumen: You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the business value that AspenTech's solutions can provide, and articulate this value to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with our sales teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Travel: You will be required to travel approximately 40% of the time to meet with customers and partners.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: You will have a proven track record in consulting, pre-sales, or professional services consulting using subsurface geomodelling software for static modelling of reservoirs.
  • Technical Expertise: You will have a strong understanding of subsurface geomodelling workflows, including structural and stratigraphic framework building, 3D Gridding, property modelling, and uncertainty assessment.
  • Business Acumen: You will have a strong drive to solve customer problems and rapidly convert pipeline opportunities into closed deals.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate high-level technical solutions to business problems.
