Business Analyst - Identity & Access Management
The Business Analyst will play a key role in delivering new systems or modifications to existing systems in the Identity and Access Management Tribe. This encompasses the role of Business Analyst and Product Business Analyst, sometimes segregated in other divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Lead in scope definition by understanding the overall objective and constraints in the field of Identity and Access Management.
- Collect requirements and transform them into a structured and comprehensive work product.
- Define clear acceptance criteria which can serve as a comprehensive test set.
Responsibilities:
- As a Business Analyst, you will help create a repository for assets and applications integrated with the Identity and Access Management Tribe, including all the manually input identity data.
- Participate in the initial feasibility study.
- Work closely with Business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements (functional and non-functional) and translate them into technical specifications.
- Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements.
- Create and document business processes using BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation) tools.
- Collaborate with change management to ensure that new deliverables are adopted for the benefit of the organization.
- Analyse the impact and risks of new service development on the current system. Capitalize on existing security measures or mitigations in place and identify benefit profiles.
- Facilitate communication between the business, IT teams, and key contributors during the project delivery phase.
- Define a test approach for the identified requirements to ensure that the initiative delivers the expected solution.
- Participate in the validation of the solution through testing and ensure the traceability of the results.
- Update internal and external documentation to ensure its up to date like the standard operating procedures (SOPs) or training material.
- Drive and secure the operational readiness of the project solution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis/Data Analysis.
- Analytical and critical mindset, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) at all levels.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements.
- Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Problem-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
- Flexibility and continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, statistical data modelling, and data visualization.
- Knowledge in data management principles and practices.
- Understanding of data quality and governance principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Professional English proficiency.
- Ability to come to the office a minimum of 4 days a month.
- Capacity to work autonomously and in close team collaboration.
- Understanding of agile methodology and ability to work in an agile environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Certifications in Business Analysis like CBAP, ECBA or CCBA.
- Business process modelling experience with tools like Adonis or Visio.
- Experience with qualitative data analysis tools such as Nvivo, Atlas.ti, and MaxQDA.
