Are you an experienced engineer looking to join a dynamic team in the field of industrial security? Look no further, we have an exciting project in the area of new gases waiting for you.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct preliminary risk analysis for new products, defining necessary control barriers for safe introduction on site.
- Update detailed risk analyses, modeling accident scenarios using tools like PHAST for toxic, explosion, and fire scenarios.
- Map risks associated with pilot vents using existing studies and additional modeling if needed, utilizing simple 2D tools like PHAST.
- Compile ATEX studies for pilots, complete zoning for non-analyzed installations, if required.
- Evaluate risks for innovative R&D pilots (H2, natural gas, biogas, CO2, H2S, CO, etc.) through HAZID/HAZOP sessions and accident scenario modeling.
- Provide technical support for fire/gas detection system selection based on pilot-specific risks.
- Conduct safety reviews, define safety distances from existing installations, and make recommendations for risk mitigation based on best practices and regulations.
- Participate in HAZOP/HAZID reviews and monitor/process safety actions.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Significant experience in process safety, risk management, and ATEX studies.
- Proficiency in risk modeling tools like PHAST.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
