CRDL Recruitment Agency is dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with exciting opportunities in various industries. We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Maubeuge seeking a highly motivated and experienced Turner to join their team.

• Collaborate closely with workshop teams, quality control specialists, and technical/engineering departments to ensure seamless production processes.
• Engage with internal and external clients to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols, quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction in all aspects of work.

As a Turner, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in pre-job briefings to review machining files (blueprints, specifications) and understand project requirements.
• Performing precise machining operations on conventional machines (TV, TP, Boring machine) according to blueprints, standards, internal procedures, and specifications.
• Inspecting machined parts meticulously to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to provided specifications.
• Contributing to production goals by meeting deadlines and striving for continuous improvement in efficiency and accuracy.
• Proactively suggesting improvements to processes and workflows to enhance productivity and optimize operations.
• Maintaining accurate traceability of parts and adhering to established documentation procedures.
• Actively contributing to a clean and organized workshop environment, ensuring proper tool storage and adherence to regulated clean zones.
• Assisting in problem-solving initiatives by conducting cause analysis and providing valuable feedback to relevant teams.
• Adhering to all safety rules and instructions to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Performing basic equipment maintenance tasks (lubrication) to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Proposing workspace improvements to enhance efficiency and ergonomics.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A BEP/CAP Machinist diploma with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in machining operations, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Hands-on experience operating various types of conventional machining equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong understanding of safety procedures (SST, etc.).
• Basic and technical English language skills for effective communication.
• Proficiency in computer tools such as the Office Suite.

While not mandatory, experience in the following areas would be highly advantageous:

• 10 years of experience in machining, including training periods.
• Expertise in conventional parallel turning and digital vertical turning.
• Experience with conventional boring machines.
• Prior experience working within a power plant environment.
