AI Benchmark Engineer

We are seeking highly motivated R&D engineers to join our AI team, working closely with Etienne Renault, our Compiler Team Leader. As an AI Benchmark Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating, porting, and optimizing AI applications for our architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and optimize AI applications for our architecture
• Estimate the performance of the next generation of high-performance chips
• Participate in the optimization of AI frameworks and workflows
• Collaborate with other teams to guide the development of new optimizations
• Improve the overall performance of AI and HPC workloads
• Collaborate with customers and external partners to gather information on requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in benchmarking, performance analysis, and optimizing AI applications
• Strong background in machine learning and deep learning techniques, notably LLM
• Hands-on experience working with deep learning toolkits such as Tensorflow or PyTorch
• Experience in using/implementing/training/fine-tuning/optimizing foundation models or generative models
• Good ability to extract and analyze results
• Proven experience with python/C++ programming, bash, and Linux
• Experience on ARM architecture
• Experience on vectorisation and/or heterogeneous memories
• Comfortable parallel/distributed paradigms
• Familiarity with ML infrastructures, such as MLIR
• Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, or audio processing generative models
• Proven R&D experience
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite for success in this role
