Capital Equipment Procurement Specialist

Cogs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Equipment Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying vendors, negotiating prices and terms, and managing the procurement process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing and Qualifying Vendors: Identify and evaluate potential vendors to ensure they meet our company's quality standards.
- Negotiating Prices and Terms: Develop and implement negotiation strategies to secure the best possible prices and terms for our capital equipment purchases.
- Managing the Procurement Process: Oversee the entire procurement process, from initial vendor selection to final delivery and installation of capital equipment.
- Ensuring Quality Standards: Work closely with our quality assurance team to ensure that all purchases meet our company's quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary capital equipment to meet our business needs.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure that our capital equipment needs are met and that our procurement process is aligned with our overall business strategy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in capital equipment procurement.
- Skills: Strong understanding of CAPEX and the procurement process, excellent negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
