Finance Controller Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller Lead to join our team at Pernod Ricard España SA. As a key member of our Global Tech function, you will be responsible for steering the financial activities for all Domains and leading a team of Domain-designated Finance Controllers.
About the PositionAs Finance Controller Lead, you will work closely with the Strategic Portfolio Director and Product Performance team to track metrics, KPIs, and calculate the Value created and TCO for Domains/Products. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the Tech budget for all domains, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Domain Finance Controllers and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with the Strategic Portfolio Director and Product Performance team to track metrics, KPIs, and calculate the Value created and TCO for Domains/Products.
- Budget Management
- Develop and maintain the Tech budget for all domains, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor and control spending, providing proactive insights on financial performance.
- Finance Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Generate insights into financial trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Cost Optimization
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Domain Directors to optimize IT spending and identify efficiency improvement.
- 7+ years of experience as a financial controller or similar position.
- Previous experience in management.
- Expertise in financial transactions & operations.
- Detail-oriented & accurate in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to assist in the development & tracking of budgets.
- Ability to use financial software and tools efficiently.
- Interpersonal and communication skills enabling interaction with various stakeholders.
- Ability to document and present financial data accurately.
- Supportive role in fostering a collaborative financial culture.
