Underwriting Governance and Control Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Underwriting Governance and Control Expert to join our team at AXA Group. As a key member of our Global Underwriting Office, you will play a critical role in driving technical excellence in retail underwriting across our entities worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Implement a state-of-the-art governance and control framework for underwriting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Group standards.
- Participate in In-Depth Reviews (IDR) and Technical Reviews (TR) to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancements.
- Develop and maintain high granularity reports for portfolio performance review, leveraging existing performance tools to provide actionable insights.
- Launch governance and control programs based on monitoring results, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring.
- Monitor and steer portfolio profitability from a governance and control perspective, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Improve governance and control processes and sales steering at the entity level, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring.
- Reduce governance and control risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Group standards.
- Utilize internal and external data, including innovative technologies, to analyze and interpret data from different entities, providing actionable insights to support specific actions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in governance and control, with a general knowledge of retail lines insurance products and client segments.
- Experience in reinsurance, project management, and working in complex environments is a plus.
- Structured argumentation to sell ideas, high-level presentation skills in front of senior management, agility to work in a multifaceted P&C world, a customer-minded approach, and good negotiation skills.
