Overview:

• Facilitate the effective management of athletic programs within a community sports center during operational hours.
• Provide engaging sports activities tailored for residents in Priority Neighborhoods.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide youth participation in municipal sports facilities, emphasizing social development through athletics.
• Create an inviting and energetic atmosphere for all users of the facility.
• Introduce innovative activities, competitions, outdoor adventures, and more.

• Strong understanding of sports and community education.
• Ability to assess diverse audiences and modify approaches as needed.
• Manage groups effectively within the facility.
• Proactively prevent unsafe behaviors.
• Develop and execute educational sports programming.
• Collaborate with community partners.

• Contribute positively to the overall operation of the facility.

Job Duties:

• Wear designated sports attire.
• Adhere to the established schedule.
• Promptly communicate any absences or delays.
• Follow administrative and sports regulations diligently.
• Ensure the safety of children on the premises.
• Maintain a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment.
• Enforce facility rules and inform users about schedules and events.
• Manage incidents, provide first aid, and document occurrences.
• Instill values such as Respect, Solidarity, Camaraderie, and Tolerance in children.
• Organize and properly store sports equipment.
• Provide regular updates to supervisors.

Qualifications Required:

• CQP ALS (JSJO and/or AGEE)
• BPJEPS APT
• DEUG STAPS (license 2)
• Licence STAPS
