Key Responsibilities- Assure the development and implementation of urban development projects, including feasibility studies, project planning, and budgeting.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including local authorities, private sector partners, and community groups, to ensure effective project delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, private sector partners, and community groups.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to urban development, project management, and environmental sustainability.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including financial performance, timelines, and quality of delivery.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and architects, to ensure effective project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, and presentations.
- Master's degree in urban planning, project management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in urban development and project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Strong knowledge of urban development principles, including urban planning, architecture, and engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
