About the Position
Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking a skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service centers in the Foley, AL area.
Key Responsibilities
As an Automotive Alignment Technician, you will use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. This includes measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to ensure optimal tire wear and vehicle performance.
Additional Responsibilities
You will also be responsible for completing state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs, as well as performing any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Physical Demands
This role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. You must also be able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
