CAST Lead DevOps Engineer

CAST is seeking a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer to join its Paris-based R&D team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of CAST's software intelligence platform.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented and driven team, leveraging your expertise in DevOps engineering to push the boundaries of software analysis and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps engineering, with experience in scripting languages, code repositories, and continuous integration build systems. A solid understanding of RDBMS and Atlassian tools is also essential.

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing DevOps processes and tools to improve software delivery and quality
  • Collaborating with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Developing and maintaining scripts and automation tools to streamline software delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
  • Strong background in scripting languages (groovy/Ant/PowerShell/DOS/shell)
  • Experience working with code repositories like GIT
  • Experience with VMWare ESXi, administering hundreds of VMs, with skills for OS administration (Windows and Linux)
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with continuous integration build systems using Jenkins and deployment tools like Puppet or Octopus
  • Solid knowledge of RDBMS like PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools like JIRA/Confluence
