Product Development Engineer

Job Summary:
MACOM is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and management of MACOM products from concept to launch. This includes defining production test plans, supporting new product introductions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
# Develop and manage product life cycles, ensuring timely and cost-effective product launches.
# Analyze contributors to product quality, cost, and drive cost reductions through process improvements and yield enhancements.
# Manage test house qualifications and yield improvements to ensure high-quality products.
# Characterize, analyze, and develop production and characterization test specifications for MACOM products.
# Create and manage product documentation, including application notes, product presentations, and publications.
# Provide product development support, interfacing with Design, Test, Application, and Quality Engineering teams.
# Identify new design and product upselling opportunities, aligning customer design requirements with MACOM products and technology.
# Develop and validate the product validation environment, including hardware and software.
# Validate products in their end application and write validation reports.
Requirements:
# Master's Degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering.
# Solid working knowledge of Product Life Cycle management.
# Considerable experience in techniques for problem isolation/solving, test issue resolution, and yield enhancement.
# Knowledge in the field of semiconductors and different designs (power amplifier PA, low noise amplifier LNA, Core Chip CC, Mixer, Trans-Impedance Amplifier TIA...).
# Knowledge of bench equipment like network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, RF sources, power meters.
# Statistical methods and tools.
# Demonstrable project management skills.
# Desire to learn and develop.
# Good communications skills.
# Excellent problem-solving and debug skills.
# Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented team environment.
Desirable Skills:
# Lab Equipment knowledge related to VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Digital and Real-Time Oscilloscope.
# Understanding in troubleshooting HW.
# Familiarity with the following software: Python, C, C++, Jupyter, ADS.
