About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at LSC Engineering Group S.A. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, calculation, and supervision of wood construction projects from conception to completion.
• Develop and implement structural designs that meet building physics and fire safety requirements.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including tender documents and contract clauses.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project goals are met, budgets are managed, and timelines are respected.
• Participate in project coordination and site meetings.
• Contribute to the development of team members' skills and expertise in wood construction.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in wood construction.
• Strong knowledge of wood engineering, building physics, and fire safety principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Initiative and motivation to take on challenging projects.
• Proficiency in software such as MB/SOFISTIK and SCIA, as well as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
