Position Overview:
At our organization, we specialize in executing infrastructure projects related to external networks, including telecommunications, fiber optics, gas, and electricity. We are currently seeking a qualified Driver and Installer to enhance our operational capabilities.
Your Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of your supervisor, you will engage in various infrastructure tasks for energy networks, which include:
- Establishing safety signage;
- Installing conduits and dry networks within excavated areas;
- Unspooling cables;
- Restoring roadways and sidewalks;
- Operating heavy machinery for the loading and transportation of materials.
Safety Compliance:
You will be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and precautionary measures during your work.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a Vocational Training Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 3 years in driving and installing heavy vehicles within the civil engineering sector. A valid driver's license, Heavy Vehicle License (C), and AIPR certification are mandatory. Additional qualifications such as CE license and H0B0 accreditation are advantageous.
