Stock Associate

Job Summary

The Stock Associate is responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of merchandise flow, filling, and presentation standards throughout the store and stockroom. This role is a key part of the retail team, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience by providing a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience
  • Provide excellent customer service by being approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable about products and services.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Store Presentation and Sales Floor
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and back areas.
  • Ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and priced, and that the store is visually appealing.
• Stockroom
  • Receive and process merchandise shipments, including unpacking, counting, and stocking.
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom, including inventory management and cycle counting.
• Communication
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on store operations and customer service.
• Asset Protection and Shrink
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or potential security risks to management.
  • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and prevent shrinkage.
• Policies and Procedures
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, store operations, and asset protection.
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills.

Requirements
