Senior Medical Secretary

At Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Medical Secretary to join our Cellular Pathology team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Consultant Histopathologists and Senior Laboratory staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our histopathology service.
Responsibilities include:
- Audio-typing of histopathology and cytopathology reports using the Winscribe digital dictation system and the pathology computer system (Ultra)
- Preparation of case lists for 33 multi-disciplinary team meetings each month
- Coordination and management of histopathology cases for Multidisciplinary Team Meetings (MDT) to ensure that patients are actively managed through their journey
- Other administrative duties that contribute to the delivery of a full histopathology service
