For our team at Voith Paper in France, we are looking for a Service Engineer QCS to join us as an automation expert in Region Golbey / Grande Est / France. This home office I % field service position will have you working regularly on site at paper factories to repair, optimize, and maintain automation systems installed with customers.
Your New Tasks
- Repair, optimization, and maintenance of automation systems installed with customers on-site
- Identification of defects and rectification of malfunctions in customer-specific problems
- Installation of software updates and data backups on the customer's premises
- Optimization of control systems in consultation with the customer to improve the quality of the final product
- Remote diagnostics and service via the Internet
- Support for proactive sales of spare parts, upgrade solutions, service, and training courses
- Conducting customer training courses and preparing service-call reports and customer documentation
Your Profile
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TRAINING AS A TECHNICIAN OR INDUSTRIAL SUPERVISOR IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING/MECHATRONICS IS REQUIRED
- Experience in mechanical and plant engineering, along with basic knowledge of control and automation technology and experience in technical field service
- Good knowledge of general software applications
- NATIVE LANGUAGE: FRENCH
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Attention to detail, organized work habits, self-organization
- Dedication, good communication skills, independence, and conscientious approach to work
- Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout Europe, especially in France
- Category B driving license
Estimated salary is around € 45,000 - € 65,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. The exact salary will be discussed during the interview process.
