About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Process Control Specialist to join our team at Eramet. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for improving the technical performance of our plants by implementing efficient expert systems and minimizing human interaction to control industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve the maturity of process control systems at our plants and develop a global process control roadmap to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce operating costs.
- Propose, implement, and monitor performance indicators for supervision systems to ensure optimal process performance.
- Develop and implement control strategies to optimize process, mine, and plant performance.
- As the Group's Advanced Process Control referent, maintain a technological watch in the field of supervision and expert systems.
- Collaborate with Operational Excellence to participate in technical benchmarking of sites.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, including a significant part in mineral processing, metallurgy, or a comparable sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and internationally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to listen, synthesize, federate, and lead.
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams.
