As a key member of the Telecom Department's Roaming team at Transatel, you will play a crucial role in implementing roaming agreements contracted by our teams. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the direct contact with the Roaming teams of international operators, ensuring the technical acceptance of the implementation of agreements for voice, SMS, and data components.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain effective communication with partner operator teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Organize and execute technical implementations and validation test campaigns with your contacts to guarantee successful agreement execution.
- Communicate critical parameters to be implemented to Transatel teams in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to requests from internal support teams on Roaming-related issues, providing expert guidance and support.
- Compose and send requests to third-party operators to implement roaming agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Maintain the technical repository of roaming agreements, ensuring up-to-date information and accurate records.
We are seeking an individual with a strong background in engineering or a technical university course, holding at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent knowledge of core network architecture, with a focus on UMTS Mobile Core Network products (HLR, MSC / VLR, SGSN, GGSN, SMSC).
- Technical expertise on network nodes (HSS, MME, DRA, IWF, SGW, PGW).
- Expertise on various signaling flows for mobile services provided in the UMTS CS / PS domains (ISUP, MAP, CAP).
- Knowledge of signaling routing (SIGTRAN, DIAMETER).
- Strong interaction and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with external customers and internal teams.
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
