Key ResponsibilitiesThe Business Analyst will work closely with the Senior Analyst and the Utilities team to:
- Enhance Industry Knowledge: Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the Transport and Infrastructure sector.
- Financial Modeling: Create and sustain robust financial models.
- Data Interpretation: Analyze market, economic, and technological trends.
- Investment Ideas: Contribute to the ideation and execution of investment opportunities.
- Reporting: Draft detailed reports and notes on companies within our coverage.
- Communication: Engage with equities sales teams, traders, clients, and company executives.
- Bachelor's degree with a commendable academic performance.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment research, financial modeling, and analysis.
- Solid understanding of accounting, finance, and valuation principles.
- Fluency in French is required.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks and collaborating with various teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Resourceful and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Progress towards obtaining the CFA designation is a plus.
