ICM Group is seeking a highly skilled Machinery Reliability Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our Reliability Unit, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our rotating equipment.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in rotating equipment to join our Reliability Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our operating facilities, projects, and technology deployment. Your primary role will be to conduct special studies and analysis in a specialized field related to mechanical rotating equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement various programs aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and efficiency, including FMEA, Criticality Assessment, PM and Switchover Optimization, Condition Monitoring, Lubricant Analysis, and equipment performance evaluation.
- Troubleshoot rotating equipment failures, trips, and under-performance issues.
- Enhance equipment MTBF through conducting detailed RCA and expediting implementation of corrective actions.
- Enhance MTTR through ensuring critical spare-parts and tools inventory, developing equipment repair procedures, and providing technical assistance to maintenance crew at site.
- Conduct systematic RCA of equipment trips, defects, and failures through FRACAS.
- Explore and deploy new technologies aimed at enhancing rotating equipment reliability and efficiency and minimize maintenance and operating costs.
- Develop scope for equipment repair and communicate with vendors and mechanical repair shops.
- Support planning and materials teams to catalog and order rotating equipment spare parts.
- Support Operations and Engineering teams to troubleshoot process-related issues that affect rotating equipment reliability.
- Participate in HAZOP review sessions and expedite completion of recommended actions.
- Participate in MOC review process related to design and configuration changes for rotating equipment.
- Participate in studies and programs initiated by Corporate Maintenance Services.
- Participate in conferences and seminars to deliver technical knowledge-sharing presentations.
- Develop and transfer knowledge of rotating equipment to new engineers.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant work experience in the design review, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical rotating equipment and auxiliary systems. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil/Gas processing industry, knowledge of international standards and codes related to rotating equipment, especially API-610, 617, 682, 614, 670, and 684, is required. The candidate should also understand mechanical seals for pumps and compressors. Proficiency in English language with good presentation and communication skills is essential.
