Position Overview
We are collaborating with a rapidly expanding renewable energy trading firm seeking to recruit a Sales Trader. This position is based in Amsterdam, with the possibility of remote work in the future.
Key Responsibilities- Engage proactively in trading and sales operations across the DACH region, focusing on a diverse range of products within the renewable energy sector, including biofuels, gas, electricity, and carbon credits.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to uncover new business prospects within the DACH region.
- Leverage market insights to develop a robust client portfolio while nurturing existing relationships.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize business opportunities.
- Report directly to the Senior Sales Trader.
- 1-3 years of experience in a relevant domain, such as commodities trading, brokerage, or business development related to products like biofuels, carbon, gas, or electricity.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline, such as finance or economics.
- Experience in building and managing a client portfolio is preferred.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential.
- Initial location in Amsterdam is required for a minimum duration.
