About the JobAs a Technical Advisor within our Essilor de Lyon commercial agency, your primary role is to ensure and maintain the level of optical/technical knowledge of our external and internal clients and provide expert insights on practical business cases.
You will be responsible for the functional management of our internal technical cell and also play an operational role with our clients, both technically and commercially.
Reporting to the Agency Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Advising and informing clients by phone about our product ranges, handling adaptations, managing norms and mounting issues
- Leading in-person and online training sessions for opticians and providing technical support to our sales force
- Supporting and animating our internal technical cell in the analysis and development of their skills
- Progressing the technical skills of our commercial advisors (training, audits, case studies, and coaching) in collaboration with managers
- Working closely with agency managers, technical experts, and sales teams, as well as all Essilor France entities (establishing common reference frameworks, transversal projects, etc.)
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum BAC+2 degree in optics (validated) and at least 4 years of experience in an optician's shop. You should have completed your initial training with an optometry course.
You should have a strong customer relationship experience and a customer-oriented mindset.
Your animation, expertise, and pedagogy skills should be recognized, and you should be able to communicate diplomatically.
